Saba Barbakadze
Self-taught frontend developer who started coding in spring 2023. Passionate about building clean, performant, and user-focused web apps. Mastered HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React through hands-on projects at The Odin Project.
Proficient in modern tooling: Vite for fast builds, Vercel for deployments, Git/GitHub for control, and SCSS + styled-components for styling. I leverage Grok (xAI) to accelerate learning, debug efficiently, and explore creative solutions.
Since September 2024, I've been a frontend developer at the National Statistics Office of Georgia , developing interactive statistical portals using React SPAs - fully bilingual in English and Georgian. I apply advanced patterns like React Router, Context API, and optimize performance with code-splitting and lazy loading.
My focus: data visualization with Recharts, amCharts, and interactive maps via React Leaflet. I transform complex financial and statistical data into intuitive, actionable insights.
Currently expanding into full-stack development with Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js (actively learning). I'm driven to build end-to-end solutions that are fast, scalable, and meaningful.
Below are my projects — from first experiments to production dashboards. Open to collaborations and new opportunities. Let's build something meaningful. I bring discipline, rapid learning, and a user-first mindset to every collaboration.
